In March 2008, Mobilis Networks Limited purchased all intellectual property, products and assets from the Argent Networks New Zealand business. The products acquired include the ArgentEclipse pre and post paid billing platform, SMSC, MMSC, VMS, and USSD products.

Mobilis has rebranded ArgentEclipse as Mobilis Eclipse – now an integral element of our convergent NGN solutions. Mobilis continues to develop the roadmap for the product, cementing its place as the technological leader in the market.

Additionally, Mobilis brought on board a number of key local and international Argent employees to joined the Mobilis Networks team. Together they have continued Mobilis' focus on delivering innovative market-leading NGN telecommunications solutions.

The acquisition of Argent's Billing and VAS products complements Mobilis' existing NGN Multimedia Softswitching, International Gateway and OSS products.

Mobilis now offers Next Generation WiFi/WiMAX Networks and traditional Mobile Networks an un-paralleled turnkey convergent telecommunications solution.
